DH2026, the 36th annual conference of the Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO), was held 27–31 July 2026 at the Daejeon Convention Center in Daejeon, South Korea, hosted by the Korean Association for Digital Humanities (KADH).

AVinDH workshop

I co-organised the AudioVisual & Digital Humanities workshop, marking the 10th anniversary of the AVinDH Special Interest Group, together with Mila Oiva and colleagues from the SIG. The day brought together a reflective panel, lightning talks on current research, and a tool demonstration session on the state and future of working with audiovisual materials in the Digital Humanities.

During the Tool Cavalcade session I presented FrameSense, our open-source CLI tool for processing large moving image collections into machine-readable datasets.

ISSA poster

Also at this conference, a poster on the first ISSA prototype, MVP1 Segment, developed by Miguel Vieira. The full poster is available here.
